A huge thank you to Kerry Castledine for generously sponsoring our U16 National Squad. Read the article to find out more about Kerry and her business.

Hi I’m Kerry, from Kerry Castledine Coaching. I am a Certified Life Coach, Personal Development Coach, Grief & Loss Coach and an accredited Mental Health England First Aider.

I am passionate about supporting mental health and well-being, and creating balance and empowerment in my clients.

The main role of a coach is to enable and empower YOU as a client to connect the dots, see yourself through an unclouded lens, and use with clarity the resources that are already inside of you. This helps to unlock the immense potential that is often buried through layers of conditioning. Whilst therapists may look to the past for answers, the coach deals with the now and the future.

There are many stressors in our lives that create exhaustion, lack of self-esteem, feelings of being stuck and unsure of the future. We have so many roles in our every day life that at times we can disconnect from who we really are, putting ourselves way down the list, and it’s worth noting that if we aren’t speaking it, we are storing it, and that gets heavy.
Reese Witherspoon was quoted as saying “With the right kind of coaching and determination you can accomplish anything”

There are some worrying statistics out there at the moment, MHFA England state that “more than 75% of adults accessing treatment now had a diagnosable condition prior to the age of 18”. Whilst we have all been affected by the huge impact of COVID and recent events, our younger generation have had the added pressures and stressors of interrupted and isolated education. When you look at our current athletes, not only do they have to deal with this, they also want to perform at their best regardless of these conditions, and we, as parents need to support them. Everyone’s well-being and mental health is paramount right now.

I offer a non-judgemental and safe space for you via Zoom, or in person in my coaching room in Lincoln; fully adhering to the Association of Coaching’s Code of Conduct. Full and further information can be found on my website at www.kerrycoach.co.uk You can also follow me on Instagram and Facebook @kerrycastledinecoaching.

“I had coaching with Kerry after feeling like I was stuck in a bit of a rut. After my dad died I tried therapy but it wasn’t for me. I felt weighed down every time I left, and didn’t feel like I was moving forward at all. When I started my session with Kerry I literally felt different after the first one-Kerry helped me put things into a different perspective, and helped me find my inner motivation and strength, and more importantly helped me apply it to daily life. I feel like I’m bossing life right now” – Megan, 25.
