Warriors travelled to Essex for their first National Premier League game of the season against Billericay.
The team got off to a great start in the first quarter playing clinical netball giving them a lead of 9 goals. The second quarter saw them even more settled, having learnt how to play against their opponents in the first 15 minutes, they were able to pick up the pace. With their defence putting more pressure on Billericay's attack forcing them to make errors the Warriors went into the second half leading 37-16.
Warriors brought on fresh legs in the third quarter to continue pushing the pace of the game. The team connected well together throughout court both on attack and defence. Heading into the final quarter 50-24 ahead, Warriors made further changes exposing the entire squad to the first game of the season.
A great win 61-38 against an experienced side to give the young squad confidence as they head into their second match against Jersey Jets. Congratulations to Jaydene Robinson for being voted player of the match.
