Warriors hit the court again this weekend against Bury at their first home match at Brooksby College and making it a brilliant success winning 49-47.
The first quarter started off neck and neck but with defence working extremely hard and making some crucial turn overs, they were able to take the lead 14-11. In the second quarter Bury put the pressure on throughout the court but with the centre court and defence working together and communicating they were able to force Bury into making errors, leaving the first half 25-20.
The third quarter the attacking end stayed strong working it well around the āDā and keeping consistent throughout the third quarter making them stay in the lead 39-33.
In the last quarter of the game Bury closed the gap but with both teams staying strong they both fought until the very end of the game. Warriors showed great mentality by staying calm and working with each other making the final score 49-47.
Warriors have made a brilliant start to the season winning 3/3 games. Next game they compete away against Norfolk United on the 28th October.
